These delicious and easy to make meatballs are the perfect addition to any fall menu.
Here's what you will need:
2lbs of ground turkey
1 apple (shredded)
1 shallot (diced)
1 tbsp fresh sage leaves
1 cup breadcrumbs
1 tbsp olive oil
Heat oven to 400 degrees. In a small pan add the olive oil and start to heat. Add diced shallot and cook until translucent. Shred apple (I used a hand cheese grater) and add to the pan with the shallot. Chop sage leaves and add to apple and shallot.
In a small bowl, add eggs and whisk.
In a large bowl add ground turkey and breadcrumbs. Mix together. Add in eggs, and ingredients from the pan. Mix together. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Form into palm size balls and put onto a sheet pan. Cook for 20 mins or until cooked through.
